Geoserver connect to database postgis

hi. When i connect to server localhost by Geoserver, sometime i fall. I don't know why i fall. Could you tell me a way to repair this case. Thanks.

    Is this somehow related to pgRouting?

    If you mean you have a problem with connecting to your database, maybe this helps: 1.x/InstallationUbuntu804#a3.SetupPostgreSQL (Setup PostgreSQL)

          Yes, maybe I can't explain clearly. My map has a function is search all "Wedding dress fashion" follow radius. I'll check a point and i want to find all "Wedding dress fashion", after that i give a parameter distance(exam: 5km), in my map must show all this objects within a radius of 5km from a point i had check. But i don't know What's function pgrouting support. Could you tell me all function can support me.

            You mean "Driving Distance". That's how we call it. http://pgrouting.postlbs.org/wiki/DrivingDistance
