Offer for Internship at Orkney, Inc. (Japan)

Orkney, Inc. offers an internship at Yokohama (Japan). The internship can last from 3 months (minimum) to 6 months (maximum). During your internship you will take part in the development of pgRouting and other location based applications, and you will gain insight into a Japanese company.

What we expect from you:

- You're a (graduate) student of geomatics or of computer science with interest in geographical information technologies.
- You have a strong interest in OpenSource software development.
- You have good English skills and interest in studying Japanese, or better in improving your Japanese skills.
- We require your own initiative to prepare and organize your stay in Japan.

Orkney will help you with finding an accommodation and applying for a trainee visa for Japan. If your country has scholarship programs for internships, Orkney will help you with required documents. Furthermore Orkney will provide some cost of living allowance over the period of your internship.
